Hello!
Welcome to Day 10!
Well, if you've decluttered, you're ready to move on to probably the most labor-intensive part of staging,
the cleaning.
The word "clean" is self-explanatory and seems simple enough, but, for readying a home,
it is one of THE most imperative and best things that you'll do for your house.
The cleaning comes before the restoration
(painting, fixing cracks, caulking, etc.), so the repairs will be easier to do.
Once cleaned, these areas need to be maintained on the same level of cleanliness
until you get your offer on the house.
Cleaning Details discussed in this post:
OUTSIDE
INSIDE
Whole House
Living Room
Garage
Kitchen
Bathrooms
Bedrooms
Laundry Room
Basement/Attic
Have fun being Cinderella!
I'll be back tomorrow, when I will be talking about Paint Colors.
See you then!
And now it's here, all the information from all 31 days of the series, in one book.

ReplyDeleteYou are the best, too!
:)
Ah, judging by this post you have taken details down due to your upcoming book... :( I understand why of course, but kind of sucks for me as our family are forced into living apart at the moment due to redundancy and relocating for work. Hopefully I'll be able to find advice elsewhere on your sight. :)
ReplyDeleteAm I missing something, is part of each day in this series taken off the blog for an e-book or something? Could you please point me in the direction of where I can find the full posts? Thanks so much, love your blog!! :)
ReplyDeleteMissing lists, and I can't find the book, either. HELP.
