A pictorial tutorial is pictures only, in order, showing how the project was done.
(It's a tutorial for those of you that are visual, like me.)
I made these the other day for Miss A, daughter #2's room.
I made them because I love her, and she is worth it.
I made them because I found a charming fabric, cheap, and HAD to put it somewhere.
I made them because a friend also gave me the chandelier.
I found the chandy shades at the Dollar Tree.
Here goes:
TA DA!
Those are so cute! I had not idea they had shades at the Dollar Store. Looks great with the blue vanity.
ReplyDeleteI have that SAME chandelier in my daughter's room - only I spray painted it white and took off the hanging thinga-ma-bobs for different ones. I like what you did! See:

That's great, Leslie! I love how the fabric you used picks up the colors in her room. I never would have thought of finding shades at the dollar store!
ReplyDeleteOh how cute! And they really look easy enough that even I could ;) Thanks for sharing sweet friend! (((Hugs))) to you!

How brilliant to look for chandelier shades at Dollar Tree! And of course they're not the kind of fabric you would want. . . but what excellent blank slates they make for your creativity! You're a smart cookie. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric you found. I love where you placed the chandelier. That room is so lovely!
ReplyDeleteLove it, love it, love it! You are so talented. my friend. Her room is just charming - has a very French look to it...and I love all things French :)
ReplyDeleteI love that vanity its too cute great job on the chandi!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictorial tutorial! :-) And I adore her room. The new chandy looks fabulous in it and I especially love the framed verse on her dresser. That is one all young ladies (and older ladies too!) should have in a place where they can see it every morning!
