Each Sunday, I will feature a picture taken by one of my daughters,
and some words of faith, hope and love given by our Father:
But godliness
with contentment
is
great gain.
For we brought nothing into the world,
and we can take nothing out of it.
But if we have
food
and
clothing,
we will be content with that.
1 Timothy 6:6-8
Tell your daughter that was a great photo, Leslie. The message was super, too. So many times we get carried away with material things when, in essence, we need so little to be content.
ReplyDeleteI definitely get carried away with acquiring "things" but admit I like to surround myself with things I love that make me happy, even if temporarily.
Grateful, grateful, grateful for all, including you! Susan
Cheers to that my friend! XO
ReplyDeleteThis was perfect for me today and completely echos what I heard at church and you seem to be another vehicle for a message I clearly need to hear right now.
ReplyDeleteSimply perfect.
ReplyDeleteLove this! Contentment is a wonderful message, and something I always need more of. Blessings <3 Paula
ReplyDeleteWonderful message shared today. Purge Party? Count me in!
