and stopped around 10 A.M. the 26th!
The last time the was a white Christmas here, it was 1963.
I wasn't even born yet.
So, needless to say, we all were very excited!
It was beautiful!
Here are some pictures from either a door or window, in our home.
This southern Yankee loves looking at the snow, but I don't like getting out in it!
Did you get a white Christmas, too?

Wow! Beautiful pictures... love the snow and birds! No white Christmas here... but that's okay... still had a great one!
ReplyDeleteLeslie,
ReplyDeleteSo happy to know you enjoyed a "White Christmas." It's STILL snowing here and is predicted not to stop until late Monday afternoon! The photographs of the birds feeding around your home are beautiful.
Your Friend,
Deborah
We have a snow covered ground but I want more....I love snow, it's beautiful. I don't like ice but snow yes.

We did, we did. First white Christmas here since 1948. It is beautiful and nice to just stay inside, safe and warm and reflective.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a wonderful day and built great memories.
We did! It started last night after dark and continued through the night--we got about six inches total! It's a Winter Wonderland today. :)
ReplyDeleteHope your Christmas was wonderful!
Great photos, Leslie! We are getting WHAMMED with snow here in Massachusetts. Oh wowsers, it's coming down HARD. By tomorrow, yuk. Don't know how we are going to shovel all that! Hope you have a good night! Susan
ReplyDeleteLove your photos! I would love to have snow..especially on Christmas, but we don't get a lot of it here in South Arkansas. We had about 3 inches last year that stayed on the ground less than 24 hours, but I had so much playing it in with my grandchildren!
ReplyDeleteGreat pic, Leslie! We got around 5" here in North Carolina, it is just beautiful. Glad you had a Merry Christmas and got snow too. Blessings, Vicky

ReplyDeleteYou weren't born yet? I was two months old.
Yes, I did get a white Christmas--only in my dreams.
Hugs
I live in Concord, NC and we had a white Christmas also. I was so excited....my friends and family were outside pretty late just enjoying it while we could. Most of it melted today but we're still thankful we finally got a white Christmas! Love those pictures!!
ReplyDeleteNo snow here but it has been really really cold! Your pictures are so pretty. I really do miss the snow we had in GA. It didn't last long, which was nice :)

Looks really pretty over there! We have had plenty snow, it's thawing now, and a bit treacherous where there is ice.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get that lovely plaque? As for me and my house...etc
Hi Leslie, I'm sorry, but I don't know the name of the French/English fabric. I called the store (Karen's Fabrics in Alpharetta, Georgia), and they don't have any right now, and they don't plan to order any in the near future unless someone wants 20 yards. I looked on my scrap to see if there was any writing, but no such luck. Maybe it'll show up somewhere. Happy New Year! Linda
ReplyDeleteThat just looks magical. We did not have a white Christmas, just cold and grey. I hope y'all had a wonderful Christmas!
ReplyDeleteOh, my goodness; did we ever get snow! You're certainly welcome to some of it, if you like. My good hubby buddy waded through snow up to his hips to check the mail.
