Each Sunday, I will feature a picture taken by one of my daughters,
and some words of faith, hope, and love given by our Father:
Your eye is a lamp,
lighting up your whole body.
If you live wide-eyed in wonder and belief,
your body fills up with light.
If you live squinty-eyed in greed and distrust,
your body is a dank cellar.
Keep your eyes open,
your lamp burning,
so you don't get musty and murky.
Keep your life as well-lighted as your best-lighted room.
Luke 11:35-36

Found this the other day:
ReplyDeleteProverbs 20:20 He who curses his father or his mother, his lamp will go out in the time of darkness.
Woo, we need our lamps and our lights! I thought of that verse when I read your post.
Great pic!
Thank you, too, for the encouragement. I'm glad to have made you a bloggy friend!
Blessings today,
Janet

I love this and you. Beautiful eye my precious girl.
ReplyDeleteExcellent! I love the visual of the wide eyed wonder (which makes me think of a child) and squinty eyes in contrast.
ReplyDeleteHope that kitchen is coming along well!
